Extent of Impact:
Description of new functionality
Select AC in claim wk based on the claim classifications, and existing ACs on business.
• relevant for first initial booking
• for subsequent bookings use the existing AC if active and valid (existing functionality), otherwise use the logic for first initial booking.
MCOB should be validated first, followed by COB.
AC cannot be defaulted if
• more than one AC is defined for COB
• more than one (or none) COB (or MCOB or other) is defined on claim
• AC is not defined
If additional items are included in AC and present on claim, they should be validated as above.
If additional items are not included in AC, but present on claim - disregard.
Support in manual and FGU claim worksheet.
Functionality enabled by system parameter.
