Problem:
EC in calculation model changes automatically in edit mode
Solution:
Introduce an option None in the entry codes that can be selected against each item in the Calculation model and Other Deductions and Claims.
When there is no entry code selected against an item the value should be defaulted to None, not blank.
When trying to edit and select an entry code for an item all available entry codes based on the EC groups including the option None should be listed for selection
When an entry code is selected against an item, it should not be possible to select the same entry code for another item. This entry code will now not be listed for selection anymore. When edited, the selected entry code should remain and on clicking the drop down, the only other option listed should be None
When the user wishes to modify the selected entry code, the option None should be selected and this will 'release' the previously entry code to be listed for selection against some other item
Only Entry Codes defined under EC Sub Category Premiums and Original Commissions should be available for selection on the Calcuation Model
Only Entry Codes defined under EC Sub Category Other Deductions should be available for selection on the Other Deductions
Only Entry Codes defined under EC Sub Category Loss and Loss Expense should be listed for selection on the Claims tab. It should be possible to define the same entry code for more than one item in this tab alone. (as per existing functionality)
