Problem:
Wrong accounting period from-to date when renewing a business
Solution:
When a business with instalments is renewed and the instalments on the new insured period are created, make sure the Accounting Period From - To is set with default values for the new insured period, even when the Accounting Period From - To is overridden on the source insured period. This means, the Accounting Period From - To shall not be copied from the old to the new insured period.
This should be the case both when the Accounting Period From - To dates are set equal the Due Date and when they are set based on the Earning Period (the method is based on system parameter settings).
Workaround:
The Accounting Period From - To on the instalments can be edited manually.
