Problem:
Wrong retro-ceded amount on NP ORP when Apply Split is used
Solution:
When details are booked automatically on non prop treaty ORP coming from OCC the system must check the sum of the details on the ORPs if they match the respective detail on the OCC multiplied with the Total Placement percentage. In case there are more than one detail booked on a worksheet on the OCC the system now check each detail on the OCC if the sum of the relevant details on the ORP match, if they match the detail on the OCC multiplied with the Total Placement percentage. If it don't match, then the system will make an adjustment to the last ORP so that the sum match the detail on the OCC multiplied with the Total Placement percentage.
We must always multiply the detail on the OCC before it is compared with the sum of details on the placements (ORPs).
Workaround:
Root Cause:
SICSR-15591 in 4.9.3. The problem fixed in this case was meant to round off the last amount on the last ORP in case the sum of the ORPs did not match the detail amount on the OCC. This was done without taking into account that there could also be unplaced shares in the placement list.
Extent of Impact:
When bookings are split by AC on a non prop treaty OCC and this OCC has an Unplaced Share, the system will wrongly adjust the last Placement (ORP) and add an amount similar to the Unplaced Share.
