Problem:
All the view only functions Options Disappear in 'Worksheet Closing Window' except 'View Balance Detail' Option even if user has only View/Read access to 'Accounting Technical.
Solution:
1. When selecting the pop-up menu option Properties from the Find Worksheet and the user is missing the access right Update in the use case Accounting Technical, make sure the system presents message SEC0003 telling the user that "You do not have access rights to perform this function. Use case: Accounting Worksheet Required access type: U".
This is correct for the Claim Worksheet.
2. When selecting the pop-up menu option Change Worksheet Status from the Find Worksheet or from the Select Open Worksheet, and the user do not have the Update access right in the use case Accounting Technical Worksheet Closing we must make sure all view options from the pop-up menu becomes visible and enabled on the worksheet closing window. Today it is only View Balance Details that is visible. We need to see all options, but for all options that is an edit option, we must present the SEC0003 message, telling the user that the Use case: Accounting Technical Worksheet Closing require access type: U.
When the user select any of the following options, the message SEC0003 should appear:
- More Balance Information (already covered by Accounting Technical - Update and Accounting Claim - Update)
- Make Minor Adjustment (since this business process is common for both TW and CW we need to make a new use case named Accounting Worksheet Closing Edit - U. This new use case will give access to Make Minor Adjustment and to Create Account Balance Group on both TW and CW)
- Edit Due Date (already covered by Accounting Edit Due Date In Closed Worksheet - Update)
- Create Account Balance Group (since this business process is common for both TW and CW we need to make a new use case named Accounting Worksheet Closing Edit - U. This new use case will give access to Make Minor Adjustment and to Create Account Balance Group on both TW and CW)
- Functional Currency Maintenance (already covered by Accounting Overrule Functional Currency Exchange Rate - Execute)
- Reset Functional Amounts (this must be covered by the Account Technical Worksheet Closing - U and the Accounting Claim Worksheet Closing - U)
- Mark Worksheet As Special (this must be covered by the Account Technical Worksheet Closing - U and the Accounting Claim Worksheet Closing - U)
All other options should not be checked by this access right.
