Problem:
Abend when trying to open View Protection Program figures from Protection Program XL Part, and there are manual bookings, but no recovery bookings

Solution:
When trying to open View Protection Program Figures from 'View Claims' in Protection Program XL Part, the system should not abend when missing OCC Claim figures (even though there are other manual bookings). It should just show the view with zero booked outward claims. This must also be the case when there are recovery bookings only in one of two OCC layers linked to the Protection Program.
Furthermore, if the client has created OCC Claims manually and booked directly at the OCC, we will not be able to show source claims - but it should not abend

Workaround:
Avoid opening the View - if no recovery bookings are created.

Problem:

Function from SICSE-1414 for UW year from Source is missing in Cede

Solution:

Implement the same functionality in Cede as it is in P&C regarding the functionality described in enhancement case SICSE-1414. The intention with SICSE-1414 is that it shall work both in P&C and Cede.

Problem:
System parameter 'Retrocede to Own Retention' is selected
System abends when running Multi Business Auto Protection Order (MBAP)

Solution:
Running the Multi Business Auto Protection Order (MBAP), the system should not abend but look for the relevant protections. This should happen also when system parameter 'Retrocede to Own Retention' is selected

Problem:
In Cede User Guide there are some missing images in the Introduction chapter, Set User Preference

Solution:
Missing images in Cede User Guide are available in P&C User Guide, and the same images must be made available for Cede User Guide.
Links must be updated accordingly.

Workaround:
Read in P&C User Guide, if available

Problem:

Surplus number object in Cede Light Universe and some not reportable

Solution:

Need to add these missing objects to the CEDE universe under the Policy folder.

Problem:

'Special Premium' indicator is not set on non-proportional facultative Outward Cedent's Contracts when Premium and Limit Condition is created or updated using web services.

Solution:
When creating or updating Premium and Limit Condition on a Non-Proportional Facultative Outward Cedent’s Contract by Web Services, and the element <hasSpecialPremium>true</hasSpecialPremium> is included, the flag Special Premium should be set to selected on the on the Premium and Limit Conditions.
 

Problem:
When using bookmarks, the displayed name is not showing all characters when accessed from the menu bar, it however shows correct name when displayed in Bookmarks window.

Solution:
Reformat the menu item text when it includes a '&' so that it displays correctly in the menu.

Root Cause:
The Widget toolkit interprets a single '&' as an accelerator symbol and needs to be doubled to display.

Extent of Impact:
Cosmetic only.

Impact on Existing Data
None.

Problem:
Loss Deposit for Non Prop Treaty is calculated without considering retrocessionaire signed share; i.e. the amount is the same as OCC figures for all retrocessionaires.

Solution:
When running retrocession Calculation for Non Prop OCC the bookings at retrocessionaire level must be calculated as the Deposit at OCC level multiplied with the signed share per Retrocessionaire. Both Premium and Loss Deposit must consider the signed share.

Workaround:
None

Problem:

When retrieving information about a Light Claim some values related to identify the light policy are not retrieved. 

Solution:

When retrieving information about a Light Claim, in addition to details on the light claim, we also need to retrieve the following details for the linked policy:

• Policy ID
• Insured Period
• Attachment Period
• Section Name

Problem:
Perfomance issue when running Preliminary Booking Order

Solution:
Removing a duplicate detail sorting to enable a better performance.

Problem:
In case of Yearly Premium in Calculating Assistance Coverage Premium, system is calculating as below, Irrespective of Leap or Non-Leap year:

Premium * Number of Insured Objects * (attachment period from - to ) / 365

Solution:
Calculation should be done according to leap or Non-leap Year, when Yearly Premium in Assistance Coverage Premium selected.

In case of Non Leap Year system should calculate as:

Premium * Number of Insured Objects * (attachment period from - to ) / 365

In case of Leap year:

Premium * Number of Insured Objects * (attachment period from - to ) / 366

Workaround:
None

Problem:
In Cede Interface Order description under Chapter 7.3 in Cede User Guide, there is a wrong reference to 11 additional classifications.

Solution:
Update incorrect reference to 11 additional classifications to be 18 - as this was increased to 18

Aim of function:
Specifications to reduce the validation of classification items for Cede Policies to only mandatory classification items in Web Service API and the Cede Interface

Aim of function

• The Domain Retrieval API for Policy Light has been enhanced by adding Protection Type of Business for proportional and non proportional protection list. This allows integrating systems to retrieve the protection assignments for protected policies.
• The Event Log recording function has had a new exit point added for the protection assignment is changed for a Light Policy / Claim. This allows a new plugin to send notification events to the Assure Cloud Event Notification system to provide improved real time integration with external systems.

Aim of function
Enable possibility to create a new Recovery Calculation Order in the web service facility as follows:

1) Connect to SICS server and open XML Tree View

2) Generate 'New Skeleton' and Select Entry Point as 'SicsWsBatchProcessEntryPoint' and Select Operation as 'createAccountingOrder'

3) Select '<createAccountingOrderInput>' under the XML Tree view

4) Select Recovery Calculation Order type from drop down under 'XSD Type'

New Soap is generated where required information for creation of order is given.

Business value for customers
Possibility to create Recovery Calculation Order for Protection Program and / or Recovery Calculation order for single OCC without opening workstation. This makes is possible to streamline the automation of integration processes.
