5.7. Link Business Partners

Organizations sharing the same SICS installation may consist of several legal entities, where each entity has its own business partners. In this case, it may be beneficial to link the Business Partners to the Base Company they belong.

  1. Open the Base Company
  2. Select Details Tab
  3. From the pop-up menu, select Add Business Partners
  4. Find the wanted Business Partner, transfer
  5. Select OK

Linked Business Partners: #

The business partners linked to this Base Company.

Values: Business Partners

Validations:
If the System Parameters Extended Base Company Segregation is Selected and Hide Business Partners is Selected, the system does not show any Business Partners not linked to the user’s Current Base Company or a Base Company within the user’s base company group. In this case, it is not possible to link a Business Partner manually.

Linked Insureds: #

The insureds (third parties) linked to this Base Company.

Values: Insureds (Third Parties)

Validations:
If the System Parameters Extended Base Company Segregation is Selected and Hide Insureds is Selected, the system does not show Insureds not linked to the user’s Current Base Company or a Base Company within the user’s base company group. In this case, it is not possible to link an Insured manually.
