Important notice on product specific files #
This document covers both SICS API Server for Life and for P&C, and for 64-bit version of Windows and Linux.
Some files come in different versions for Life and P&C. This document will refer to these files with the PRODUCT alias. Replace the alias with pc for P&C and lf for Life.
This SICS release contains a separate SicsServer.war file for each product. Each SicsServer.war file is located in corresponding zip files named SICSAPIServer[PC|LF].zip in the/SICS API Server subfolder under the release folder, on the DXC SharePoint delivery site.
Usually, you would need to download only one specific .war file, matching the desired PRODUCT. The downloaded file could be kept as SicsServer.war or renamed to any other name suiting your installation. For the purpose of the discussion in this document, the file name SicsServer.war is assumed.
Database compatibility #
SICS API Server like SICS Workstation is dependent on SICS database version. The service pack documentation which is included in every delivery describes database patches etc.
