12.1. Overview

This chapter explains how to manage reference items including maintenance of: currency, locations, reporting units, entry codes,reference data, and, for SICS Life, lookup tables.The Reference Items folder, in which all of these icons are found, is located on the SICS Desktop. In some cases an end-user may have access to Reference Items, but in most cases only the System Administrator needs access to Reference Item maintenance. The folder is password protected, so that only those with the correct password will have access to it.
