Delete Registered Condition Information

Delete Registered Condition Information

There may be times when making changes to a condition is not enough. When, for example, a condition is registered in error, or there are special conditions on a section that you do not want, you can easily delete all registered information on a condition. You can also restore inheritance of special conditions that were overridden in error.

Delete Condition button | Once information has been entered on a condition, and that condition window is open, the Delete Condition button appears (not in an inherited condition of a section). Using this button makes it easy to clean up a business and to show correct condition information. |

Using this button, you can do the following for a selected condition:

  • Remove all values with one click. (It is not necessary to delete information in each field of the condition.) Once the data has been deleted, the condition button becomes “clear” again indicating that condition have not been entered for that particular condition.
  • Restore all inheritance to a selected child section. Once the inherited data on the section is restored, the button related to the section shows the correct status (inheritanceEblue square). Removal of a condition on an overridden child section is interpreted by the system as a restore of inheritance.
  • Restore all inheritance to a selected placement (for example, Retrocessionaire Participation)
  • Restore all inheritance from a selected business (for example, Outward Cedent’s Contract) to its placements on all lower levels (for example, intermediary placement and Retrocessionaire participation).
