Maintain Business Partner Basic Information
SICS allows accurate and detailed registration of a company’s basic information, such as the name, domicile country, or address.
Maintain Partner Key Information #
To record or change key information such as the name or identifier of a partner.
- Find and open the business partner. You see the View business partner window.
- Click the ‘Edit’ button. You see the Edit Business Partner window.
- Enter the name and location information, as you require.
- If you want to indicate what sort of company this is for example a broker, select ‘Add/Remove Type’from the pop-up menu in the Type box and click OK.
Maintain Partner Address #
SICS lets you record an indefinite number of addresses (postal, e-mail, phone numbers and so on) per partner.
Record a Business Partners Address #
- Find and open a business partner.
- Click the Details tab.
- In the Properties display list, select ‘Addresses’.
- In the Addresses display list, select ‘New ‘from the pop-up menu. You see the Create Address window.
- Enter relevant information and click OK.

Maintain an Electronic Addresses #
With each business partner address, you may record information such as telephone numbers, e-mail addresses and fax numbers.
To record an electronic address:
- Open a business partner and click the Details tab.
- In the Properties display list, select Addresses.
- In the display list, select an address either by double-click and Edit button, or select Edit from pop-up menu.
- In the Edit Address window, select the Electronic tab.
- Select ‘New-Associate Electronic Address ‘from pop-up menu.
- Enter type of address and number, and click Save

To associate/dissociate Electronic Address:
- Open a business partner and click its Details tab.
- In the Properties display list select Addresses
- In the address display list select an Address, either by double-click and Edit button or select Edit from the pop-up menu.
- In Edit Address window select Electronic tab.
- Select Associate/Dissociate Electronic Address in the pop-up menu.
- Select an electronic address by double-click.
- Select OK in the Edit Address window.
Delete an Electronic Address
- Open a business partner and click its Details tab.
- In the Properties display list select Electronic Address.
- In the Electronic Addresses display list select the address and select Delete in the pop-up menu.
Flag a Company as EDI Joint Venture Partner #
Register and maintain information regarding the possibilities of sending insurance and reinsurance messages using electronic commerce to a business partner.
- Find and open a business partner
- Click the Details tab
- In the Properties display list, select EDI JV
- Click the Edit button
- Enter relevant information and click OK.
