Delete a Headline Loss

If you create the Headline Loss in error, or if you determine that the Headline Loss is no longer required, there is a possibility to delete the Headline Loss provided you have not included the Headline in a Recovery Calculation. Refer to Recovery calculations for further details.

When you delete the Headline Loss, you only delete the Headline and the links to this Headline on all the linked assumed claims. The assumed claims will naturally remain.

1. Open Headline Loss from the SICS desktop.
2. Select the Headline Loss you want to delete.
3. Select Delete from the pop-up menu.
4. Confirm that you want to delete the Headline by clicking OK in the warning dialog box.
