Visualize Non-Proportional Protection Assignment

When your claim is linked to at least one non-proportional protection, the system allows you to view which non-proportional protections may be relevantfor the claim. (Whether the claim is actually recovered from the listed OCCs or not, and by which amount, obviously depends on a number of factors, such as annual aggregate limit, claims affecting the insured period, and so on.)

1. Open the claim for which you want to view the potential protections
2. Open the claim’s Links tab
3. Open the Protection Assignment
4. Select one of the linked protections, and select Visualize Non-Prop XL Protections from the pop-up menu
5. The system opens a graphical presentation of the potential protections

The presentation is an overview of the directly linked protections, and those which are linked through Inuring to Benefit rules Through Top and Reinstatement Exhausted. The latter is limited to 2 back-up layers. Other ITB rules are not considered.

The presentation does not consider proportional protections, or Non-Proportional Aggregate Excess of Loss or Stop Loss protections.

Clicking on a specific OCC opens the linked business.

Visualize Protection when Reinstatement Exhausted is handled as Drop #

If you have a layer which should drop down to an underlying layer the visualization of the drop layer is indicated with a downwards arrow. The layer is displayed both in columns Direct Link and Through Top, as well as Reinstatement Exhausted.
